 Youth Art Month 2014

An annual tradition at the Waldron Art Center, hundreds of pieces from Monroe County Community School students will fill gallery’s space during the month of March. Medias range from oil paints to crayon drawings, jewelry to photography, and more. With the installation of the exhibit executed by MCCSC staff and students alike, this show is a tribute to the artistic talent and passion of the Monroe County school system.

Lucia Bennett—Recent Works

An IU Fine arts graduate, Lucia Bennett creates her pieces using waterjet-cutting technology. Commonly made out of aluminum, steel, rubber, leather, plastic, and wood, Bennett’s design take the form of jewelry, sculptures, and home décor. Aside from being a designer, Bennett is also an entrepreneur, running her own business entitled MODIA INDUSTRIA. If you like what you see at the Waldron, Bennett has a studio in Bloomington where she can provide custom services as well.
