Quilters Without Borders is a local quilting arts group that was established in 2014. These five women came together to learn from each other and to learn as a group, expanding their artistic endeavors as far as possible. They quickly discovered that there were no limits (or borders) to their creative ambitions; hence their chosen name: Quilters Without Borders. Five kindred spirits, Maryam Othman, Georgia Koushiafes, Dedaimia Whitney, Laura Brown-Cano and Julie Higgins work individually and collaboratively to create beautiful art quilts.
